Objective

Marketers of the beauty industry are increasing their focus beyond just selling; they are now creating new luxurious, interactive experiences that would indulge their customers in all kinds of sensory experiences at the point of sale. New product experiences, such as novel retail and digital services, are here to build customers in-store experience and arouse interest on brand and products. We are on the spot of helping La Mer launch a regional iPad application that can support worldwide services of 11 countries.

Idea

We offer customers a diving-like experience which the content is organized by the layer of the ocean at different depths – from surface where you can enjoy the sunbeam and sea view, to the deepest layer of ocean where you will be surrounded by marine creatures as well as boulders and corals. Each layer, marked by the different gradient tones from the lighter blues to the darker blues, represents a new section distinguishable from the rest of the layers. Customers can swipe left or right to view details of the section.

Approach

Customers will begin their transformational journey from the brand story videos, Miracle BrothTM, Kelp Harvest, Blue Heart etc. They will then be invited to complete a quick consultation or an in-depth questionnaire surveying their lifestyle. Their consultation result will be sent to the customers via email or a hyperlink. After the consultation, customers can explore more about the product information (in different formats like image, video, testimonial, etc.) if they wish to. If they are indeed so interested about the product information, experts from the La Mer branches can share the product or service brochures to customers by email instantly.
